This online course explores literature related to family engagement in K-12 education settings. The course is devised of 6 modules. The modules offer family engagement information and ideas that teachers may consider integrating into their teaching methods as a strategy to improve student learning.
Course Objectives
The purpose of this course is to motivate educators to explore family involvement as a strategy to enhance student achievement.
Course Registration
To register for this course, you will need to follow these steps:
Step 1:
– Follow the LINK to the Colorado State University-Pueblo Graduate Studies in Teacher Education Page.
– Click on Registration Form and follow the steps (choose Lifelong Learning in the drop-down list of providers) to register for each course.
Step 2:
– Click HERE to submit your registration information to Lifelong Learning.
– Once registered, the course syllabus and steps for obtaining the necessary materials to complete the course will be sent via the email address provided on the registration form.
Step 3:
– Select your course(s) from the choices below.
– You will be directed to the Lifelong Learning Store.
– Add each course you’re registering for to your cart and follow the checkout directions to submit payment.
– You will receive an email with course information once all registration steps have been completed.
*Note: Be sure to also register with CSU-P (Step 1); you will not receive credit without registering through CSU-P.
