The Two-credit course focuses on the world of Digital Citizenship.   Digital Citizenship is a concept which helps teachers, technology leaders and parents to understand what students/children/technology users should know to use technology appropriately. Digital Citizenship is more than just a teaching tool; it is a way to prepare students/technology users for a society full of technology. Digital citizenship is the norms of appropriate, responsible technology use.  Too often we are seeing students as well as adults misusing and abusing technology but not sure what to do. The issue is more than what the users do not know but what is considered appropriate technology usage1. All facets of the course focus on best practice instruction and research based approaches to teaching.  All levels of technology experience are encouraged to take this course.

Registration Information

Step 1 - Choose your credit type:

a) Graduate level PDE credit (University of North Dakota) cannot be used for master/degree programs of study.

b) Degree eligible graduate credit (Colorado State University-Pueblo) may be eligible to be used on graduate programs of study. Individuals would follow program guidelines and admittance criteria at CSU-Pueblo to do so.

c) Noncredit/CEUs provides a record of completion (CEA)
