The Two-credit course focuses on the world of Classroom Response Systems. These systems are great for quizzes, quick assessment of student understanding, and to keep students engaged in the lesson. Teachers also report that students sleep-less in class, have better attendance, better engagement and report that they enjoyed the lesson. This course covers the uses of different Classroom Response Systems, how to create and deploy the systems. All facets of the course focus on best practice instruction and research based approaches to teaching. All levels of technology experience are encouraged to take this course.
The purpose of the online course is for participants to gain knowledge in Classroom Response Systems aligned to best practices. Participants have teacher-friendly resources that directly link to specific resources. The web-based tools will enhance student engagement for the 21st Century classroom.

National Board for Professional Teaching Standards
The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards seeks to identify and recognize teachers who effectively enhance student learning and demonstrate the high level of knowledge, skills, abilities and commitments. This course aligns with 1, 2 & 4 of those standards.
Step 1 - Choose your credit type:
a) Graduate level PDE credit (University of North Dakota) cannot be used for master/degree programs of study.
b) Degree eligible graduate credit (Colorado State University-Pueblo) may be eligible to be used on graduate programs of study. Individuals would follow program guidelines and admittance criteria at CSU-Pueblo to do so.
c) Noncredit/CEUs provides a record of completion (CEA)
